Be careful with Wiredsurf and 14DailyPlus

Posted by rabbit on 31st May 2006

We should be careful with these two paid to surf programs. Both of them are currently having payment problems — which is usually a very bad sign for these kind of programs. Wiredsurf is now allowing members to compound their overdue earnings if requested. I have been waiting for a payment for an upgrade that expired on May 7th. It is almost June 1st now, and I still have not been paid. I submitted a ticket 3 days ago about the issue and the reply I got was to read the latest update on their forums. I decided to submit another ticket asking them to compound my payment. I figure that I might as well try to make some more money in the remote chance that they can catch up and start paying on time again. I would recommend that everyone stand aside when it comes to these two programs. If you do get paid, keep your money in your pocket for now and see what happens in a few weeks. If you are considering joining either of the programs, wait to see how things turn out. I have moved 14DailyPlus to my Programs on Hold list.

PHOENIXSURF

This excerpt from an update sent out a few days back explains whats going on with this dead dog:

"As a result of the recent events affecting the program, Phoenixsurf has a cash shortage. Our situation is being reviewed by our lawyer. We are working to come up with a strategy to get our members the return of their initial principal purchase less profits taken."

The latest on Wiredsurf’s site issues

Posted by rabbit on 10th May 2006

The WiredSurf web site hasn't been up and running for well over a week now (maybe longer — I have lost track). It is not very clear why they have been unable to get the site up and keep it up. A few days ago I received an email from them saying that the site is back up. However, when I check for myself to do my surf it was down again. Anyhow, you guys can check up on the latest news with this Paid To Surf program here.

News: PhoenixSurf and Udachu Invest Site Issues

Posted by rabbit on 27th April 2006

The Phoenixsurf web site has been having problems since yesterday. With the site down much of today, many were wondering what was going on. There were no news update from the administration as they were unable to send any messages from their server. A few minutes ago I received an email saying that they have been under a massive DDOS attack since, and are now trying to recover from it. Members will be issued credits for missed surfing days (April 26th, 27th and 28th). There were some technical issues with the Udachu Invest web site today. For much of the day the site was either inaccessible or extremely slow. Readers that have requested access codes will be getting them within a few hours as the site is now running smoothly again.

FX-Experts and Udachu Invest Back in Business…

Posted by rabbit on 23rd April 2006

For those of you that have not already noticed, the FX-Experts and Udachu Invest web sites are now back up. Changes have been made by the administration of both sites to protect them from future DDOS attacks.

You now have to surf 9 sites again in order to get paid your 13% per day from Compactsurfing. A few days ago I reported that you only had to surf 2 sites.

Quick Update: FX-Experts, Compactsurf and Udachu Invest

Posted by rabbit on 20th April 2006

FX-Experts is still trying to recover from the DDOS attack that I mentioned in the news update a few days ago. The latest word I received is that the site should be up and running again by tomorrow. Marcos (the admin) has also taken some steps to buffer the site against future attacks. Compactsurfing is up and running again and now has DDOS protection in place. For the time being, they are also allowing members to earn their 13% by surfing only two sites. The word on the street is that the guys over at Udachu Invest are currently updating their site and servers. This is why the site is not accessible at the moment. I imagine that it should be back up within a day or two. I will keep you guys posted.

Posted by rabbit on 17th April 2006

FX-Experts is currently down because of a Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attack. Marcos the admin is currently working on getting the site back online as soon as possible. Stay tuned. Compactsurfing is also under a DDOS attack and the admin is trying to get things up and running. All members will be credited for the missed surfing day once the site is back up.

PTS Programs Now Rated + AlienTrust Comment

Posted by rabbit on 16th April 2006

Well I think I have been in the unrated surf programs on my list long enough for me to assign a score. All the Paid to Surf programs on my list now have a rating. I have put AlienTrust under "Problem Programs" for the moment because they now require members to complete tax forms and send in ID. I am still debating whether or not this is something I want to do, given the fact that I would be sending my information to a total stranger. I will make a decision this week as to whether I should abandon the program, or send in my documents. Please note that they have no payment issues or anything like that. I like the program, and can understand why they are making verification a requirement to get paid from the program. They are trying their best to legitimize their business, and avoid the SEC regulatory pitfalls that caused 12DailyPro to fall.
