Udachu Diversified Fund and Udachu Invest now Private

Posted by rabbit on 25th July 2006

After several weeks of speculation, the admins of Udachu Diversified Fund and Udachu Invest have decided to close both programs to new investors. It seems that all the good programs are going private one by one. Others such as Joyfund have increased their minimum investment amount (Joyfund raised their minimum from $1000 to about $5000 now).

Globalethical.com looks like another scam

Posted by rabbit on 10th July 2006

I received the email below from a David Sharp with the subject line "Hello Sir". I sent an email asking if I can visit their corporate headquarters since its in my neck of the woods. I also asked if they are licensed by the Ontario Securities Exchange in Canada to offer investments online. I have yet to hear a response (and don't expect one). Anyway, you guys should be able to tell just by reading the email that this one is just another pretty ponzi in the making.

Solidinvestment Gone…

Posted by rabbit on 10th July 2006

It looks like Solidinvestment.com is gone. I was hoping that my suspicions were wrong, but in this arena history tend to repeat itself. I feel very sorry for those of you that lost money in the program. This is not the first scam run by these leeches (I believe Jungle Ventures from 2 years ago was also ran by them), and it will not be the last. This is why we need to be vigilant and stop feeding the obvious scams with our hard-earned money.

Big Week for SolidInvestment?

Posted by rabbit on 9th July 2006

While I am not a member of Solidinvestment myself (I think its an elaborate ponzi scheme), there are quite a lot of my readers that are either in it or would like to learn more about it. It seems this coming week will be a big one for the program. The admin of the program promised that "investors" waiting weeks for their payment will finally get it this coming week. There are a lot of chatter among Solidinvestment fans that the promised payments this week will prove that Solidinvestment is not a scam. If history is any indication though, they are in for a rude awakening. Still, I hope I am wrong and everyone that are owed get paid this week. Of course I will post another update here about the promised payment (or non-payment).

Some Updates on NowDollar

Posted by rabbit on 8th July 2006

PAYMENT RECEIVED

I received my first payment from Nowdollar on Wednesday. I made the withdrawal request after surfing on Tuesday morning. For those of you that do not already know, there are two main days in which payments are processed each week - Tuesdays and Fridays. If you make a request for a withdrawal on Tuesday morning (before 1 PM EST or GMT 9h00) then chances are that you will be paid the same Tuesday or the day after. The same applies for Friday withdrawals. There are two rules in place for withdrawals:

Warning about egold-investments.biz from a reader

Posted by rabbit on 23rd June 2006

"I'm a newbie in the world of HYIP and in fact wasn't really looking to involve myself in the scene. However I was checking out a google adsense ad for the followinghttp://www.egold-investments.biz.

In the course of doing my DD on this, I discovered HYIP. This site claims it
is not a HYIP (thats what brought the term to my attention) but I suspect
that is what it is.

After doing a whois search, I can already confirm at least one lie on the
site - the US address is non-existant, even the ZIP doesn't exist. I used
their contact form to ask why the address wasn't valid but haven't received
a response.

A second lie found on the page is their claim of longevity. According to
Whois, the site url was granted in May 2006 but I'm not sure whether that
refers to the originating date or a renewal."

Comments:

Never join a program you see being advertised in Google Adsense as they are almost guaranteed to be scams. If you check out the site you will also see that they accept "invesment" amounts as low as $1. Real investments do not accept $1 as an initial deposit.

Solid Investment revisited

Posted by rabbit on 12th June 2006

It seems that Solid Investment is now running into cash flow problems as expected, a reader sent me this in an email:

"They (Solid Investment) changed the TOS for current investors, who were receiving business daily payments on their money.  They”forced” us to join their 60-day plan at 6% daily, whether we wanted to or not.  I also posted on Gold Poll, as did 67 people along with me, and Gold Poll refused to list them as not paying, since they were payingdaily payments to people who invested under $1000.  I think Gold Poll andSI are in bed together.  For the month of June, Gold Poll doesn’t show
any of the 67 very bad votes and still is showing SI as paying. I don’t have much faith in SI anymore, nor do I believe I will eversee my principal, but it just irks me to see them keep drawing in moregullible people from a Russian scam group that’s going to run away with
everyone’s money in the next 30-60 days."

Udachu Diversified Fund’s B+ Rating

Posted by rabbit on 27th May 2006

A few of you of sent me e-mails asking why Udachu Diversified Fund is only rated a B+ on my High Yield Programs list. This article on my friend Merovingian's (aka Van Bassidor) blog sums it up nicely. While there is proof that there are involved in real businesses, no one knows for sure how they generate their returns, as they are not audited by a third party. You can also find an interview that Merovingian did with Rod Spiller — one of the admins at Udachu Invest here.

News: PhoenixSurf and Udachu Invest Site Issues

Posted by rabbit on 27th April 2006

The Phoenixsurf web site has been having problems since yesterday. With the site down much of today, many were wondering what was going on. There were no news update from the administration as they were unable to send any messages from their server. A few minutes ago I received an email saying that they have been under a massive DDOS attack since, and are now trying to recover from it. Members will be issued credits for missed surfing days (April 26th, 27th and 28th). There were some technical issues with the Udachu Invest web site today. For much of the day the site was either inaccessible or extremely slow. Readers that have requested access codes will be getting them within a few hours as the site is now running smoothly again.
