Solidinvestment Gone…

Posted by rabbit on July 10th, 2006

It looks like Solidinvestment.com is gone. I was hoping that my suspicions were wrong, but in this arena history tend to repeat itself. I feel very sorry for those of you that lost money in the program. This is not the first scam run by these leeches (I believe Jungle Ventures from 2 years ago was also ran by them), and it will not be the last. This is why we need to be vigilant and stop feeding the obvious scams with our hard-earned money.

As much as I’d like to say otherwise, they took us. What I don’t get is why continue to lead us down this road, They had no new investments from June when they held off the first SP payments, was it not good enough to destroy these peoples dreams that they had to continue their torture of them too? Won’t be good for the industry at all and I’m ready to put funds together for a “Hunting Trip”

    Rich,

What they did is not unusual. I have seen it happen many times befor e since I have been in this arena. I suspect they were just using the time to hide their tracks and plan their getaway. They will not be the first to do it, and will not be the last. In fact, I am pretty sure these same crooks scammed people befoe in other programs (Jungle Ventuees and Mycrosoft among others).

  3. Martin Says:

I actually came out on top with these guys but please don’t for any second thing I’m a supporter. Their survival stemmed from the unbreakable cheerleaders in the ecurrency forum who gave a lot of people very false hopes.

I was suprised but delighted that SI paid out to those who refused to accept their special plan for quite some time. Even last week I received a modest (but token) commission from a downline member despite contacting him months ago expressing my concern and I have a feeling small members were still getting paid daily until the last few days.

Certainly the admin should be left to rot but the people who lost the most from SI were the ones who believed in the ridiculous special plan and chose to use it. There were a lot of people who did come out in profit.

Well I am a victum of solidinvestment.com. I am into them for 66 Thousand. For me that is a lot of money. All the research looked good so who new. I would like to know if there is anyway to track these kind of people down and make them pay for there crime. I know the money is gone and I will never see it again. So lets stop this from happening to others.

  6. Rich Says:

What’s your take on this Rabbit. Personally I take it as Urban Myth that SI is still comng back and that Sosa posted those remarks.

Oddly enough, SolidInvestment paid us on the 6th July in their usual prompt fashion. Nothing since then, of course.

For safety sake, we’ve been withdrawing our small daily earnings every 1-3 days for the last few months.

  8. Razi Says:

    Dear Rabbit,
I am fairly new in this arena …. about 4 months. When I wanted to start my investment program, one of my (so called) seasoned investor friends suggested Solid. Well I put some money into it. I was just hoping to get my profit as they seemed to be working on something to pay us. We were told to be patient and so on. Half way through when I began to learn more, heard more, read more (including your articles) about all these “money from the sky” investment I wanted to pull out but the system prevented it. Overall, I put in about 3.7K (Solid, Vasco, etc.) and got back only 0.6K. This is a big loss! Lesson learned, NEVER INVEST in HYIP that promises unsustainable returns like more than 1% per day. I just don’t believe they could give us so much returns. Well they could but only for a while.

  9. sam Says:

it sounds some how difficult to believe tht si has gone.

Are you saying tht my withdrawal has gone again….

Someone should tell me, all this kind of investment are they real?

I have joined this hyip programme for the past one year, it is from one hand of scammer to the other, si that i thought will be my last hope also gone again.

All the hope and plan has gone again and again…God, this is painful if it is so.

can we still keep hope alive that they can resurface again?

is it possible to get in touch with their office address i think i can look for it and post it to you friends.

is this not wasting of time and money on irrelevancies?

what will i say to the friends that i have informed about hyip. i have over 10 contancts waiting for me to withdraw my money for them to join me.

I am not happy at all for this development…….

  10. rabbit Says:

    Martin,

The scammers can always bank on hooking us based on greed. This is why they have such ridiculous returns to begin with. People see the high returns and start calculating how they will be a millionaire in a year or two. I know the feeling because I fell into the same traps when I started out in this arena.

    Hey Gene,

Sorry to hear about your loss. Unfortunately, there is not much that can be done. The scammers are laughing all the way to the bank and will be back again for more under a new guise in a few months.

Bob $66,000? Ouch. I would never have donated that much money to this scam. This program had all the hallmarks of of a scam from the very beginning. I wish you had contacted me before you throw your $66K in I would have certainly discouraged you from throwing in that much. Heck, I dont even think they were worth a gamble for $660 much less $66,000. Sorry to hear about your loss BOB. Its really sad…very sad.

THis is another form of history repeating itself. They never come back….. No point harbouring false hopes at this point.

  14. rabbit Says:

    Gary,

Good for you. But I am willing to bet that alot of people that were getting paid daily were “re-investing”. The daily payment was another confidence builder to hook and deceive people. NOt all of these scams are idiots (especially repeat scammers). They learn with time.

    Razi,

Sorry to hear about your loss. You seem to be learning very fast. it is a pity the lesson had to cost you a few Ks.

Be careful of folks claiming to be your friend when they are pushing a program on you. They are generally more interested in their referral commissions than they are in you making money.

    Hey Sam,

It is story like yours that make this arena very sad. I have seem stories like yours countless times — usually after a “big” program collapses. I am sorry to hear about your loss. But it is highly unlikely that Solidinvestment will come back. Please be cafeful with the programs you put your money in in the future. If you want my opinion on a program before you put you join a program, drop me a line.

I feel sorry for those who lost money in hyip, I have lost money in 12dp and stormpay and after those loss I stop investing, I learn from losing money, maybe it will take you to lose all your money from your savings before you learn, this is way it meant to be :(

  18. rabbit Says:

    Andy,

There is money to be made in the high yield arena. You just have to be smart about it. Some people keep losing money because they keep chasing the ponzis paying 1%+ per day on average. These returns are not sustainable over a long period time. There are no investments that can generate that kind of return that can generate those returns month after month year after year consistently.

Im pretty positive that not only jungleinvest was also run by the same scammers… Others were VascoInvestment (definitely), Tinger Invest, ACFin…

  20. Dale (Rustbucket) Says:

Unfortunantly it’s the newbies that usually get hung out to dry (been there done that).
Many people promote these programs as if they are without risk. Even high yield legit investments have high risk. The higher the yeild the higher the risk.
I got into SI at the urging of a friend who actually believed this was a long term investment. I tried to tell him it was a ponzi and only a matter of time before it folded but he was sold on all the hype. I made a low 3 figure spend and managed to double my money before they folded. I never got into the Special program so I was able to make withdrawals right up to a couple of weeks before they disappeared.
I appreciate your blog Rabbit. Good solid advice here with the proper cautions on the risk involved. Keep up the good work.

I agree Rustbucket. This is why we need to educate the newbies so that they do not get trapped. The thing is that there appears to be too many desperate people coming onto the scene thinking that HYIPs will be their saviour. This is one of the reasons why there are so many program cheerleaders / cultists out there. All it takes is for the program to pay for 3 months before people start to latch onto the program thinking its the real deal.
