Hope for an EMO Refund?

Posted by rabbit on July 9th, 2006

A few months ago I mentioned that EMOCorp (a well-known payment processor) was shut down by the Texan government and was put into the hands of a receiver. Now it appears that steps are being taken to refund those that have money stuck there. I have about $150 there myself and was able to login to check the balance recently. Those that have accounts there should have received an email from the receiver around June 28th.

    Rabbit,

Unfortunately you are able to login to your EMO account only to see what you are not going to get. The receiver and his team of high powered bankruptcy attorneys, along with all of the so called industry professionals he has brought along, will bleed all of the customers money. Ironic since the TRO itself states that they are there to protect these very assets. Don’t be fooled by Gary Barton’s arm of supposed goodwill, do your due diligence and figure out what is really going on with this investigation. I can suggest this website to enlighten you and all that you know with interests in EMO. JMHO.

I agree. It is only the lawyers and receivers that end up making money in the end. I have already written off the $150 I have there. I was lucky. I had a few Ks there are pulled it out just a few days before they government send in the receivers.
