SPS Income and AlienTrust added….
Posted by rabbit on January 11th, 2006
This past weekend I joined two new programs: SPS Income and Alien Trust.
This program was recommended to me by one of my blog readers. After doing a bit of research I decide to put in$100 to try it out. The program has two plans — 3% per calendar day for 50 days and 10% per calendar day for 20 days. The minimum for the 3% plan is $50 and the minimum for the 10% plan is $100,000 (yes one hundred thousand dollars). I find these returns too good to be true, which is one of the reason why I past over them a few months back when I first learn about the program.
So why did I decide to join? I decide to join following reasons:
1.The program claim to have been around since March 2005 and have spent some money in getting a Comodo SSL certificate.
Side Note: This claim is somewhat suspect. While the WHOIS information for the domain is showing registration in February 2005, the program is not listed on any reputable HYIP listing site prior to early September. I also checked a few forums and could not find the program being discussed prior to September 2005.
2. The admins have a PDF on the site showing that they are registered in Panama as Venturio Inc.
Side Note: Registration generally means nothing. There were a few Panamanian registered programs in the past that scammed away. However, I give them credit for taking the time and the added expense to incorporate. You can view the censored version of the PDF here.
3. I have not seen any payment issues reported thus far.
4. I can get back my principal with interest in less than 60 days. For these high risk programs, this is a must.
For now I am ranking this program under Tier Two as High Risk
AlienTrust
This program is being touted by a lot of people as the “next 12DailyPro”. While it is a cut above the myriad of other autosurf programs out there, I do not think it is even close to displacing 12dailyPro as the king of the autosurf arena. At first glance, the web site looks as if it was designed for hardcore gamers. You will find a lot of flash and pizzazz but not much to inspire confidence in the site and what is being offered. Come to think of it, a silly name such as AlienTrust does not inspire much confidence either. But it appears the purpose of all this jazz is an effort by the program’s administrator to set the program apart from the competition.
Right now AlienTrust only accepts Stormpay as a deposit and withdrawal option. It pays 10% per day for 14 calendar days and process withdrawal requests every Friday afternoon Central Standard Time. As of this posting, the program has just over 6300 members (up from 4700 since I joined the program on Sunday). The admin claims that the daily returns will go up as the membership increases (11% daily at 30,000; 12% daily at 75, 000). The admin also claims that the program will close to new membership when they hit 100,000 members. Closing the program would seem a bit odd for a program that at the very least is partially dependent on eyeballs.
Anyway, here are the reasons why I decided to throw some money in this one:
1. It is a growing program with only 6300 members (compare this to 12dailyPro which has about 240,000 members by now).
2. Members are reporting that they are being paid promptly on Fridays.
3. North Shore Media, the company behind Alientrust, is registered as a business (sole proprietor, not a corporation) in Wichita Falls, Texas.
4. The admin honoured deposits from those who upgraded via e-gold when the option was available, even though his e-gold account was hacked and the money stolen.
5. The admin, Vincent Kronlein, provided due diligence information to a third party (HYInquire.com) which included his driver’s license, and a bank statement with a confirmed address. According to HYInquire, he also provided information about source of funds (which includes off line and online businesses). You can read more here.
6. I can get back my principal with interest in 2 weeks or less. One can cashout every Friday as long as you have earned a minimum of $35 from surfing.
In spite of the above, I am ranking this under Tier Two as High Risk for now.
