Program News: Feederfund and MPDW

FEEDERFUND
Feederfund went private on December 12th and is no longer accepting new members. They did this without any prior warning. I have mixed feelings about this decision because it was just last month that they got themselves approved by Sensatrust. You can read more about the news and my thoughts on the matter here.
Because the program is now private, I have removed it from my favourites listing. However, please keep in mind that the programs I have listed are only those that are public and still open for new investors. I still consider Feederfund one of my favourite programs.

MPDW
There is a big discussion going on about MPDW that may be of interest to those interested in, or have already invested in MPDW. You can read about it here. Recently MPDW’s admin decided to purge “free” members from the program (i.e members that did not invest any of their funds). This decision got at least one “free” member upset.

Just an addendum to this post. Someone pointed out that Feederfund did in fact hinted that it would be closing to new members by year end. Still, the sudden mid-week closure took a lot of people off-guard.

Yeah, I vaguely remember this statement from way back, near the start of the year… I like the fact they did it quietly and without fuss. More a sign of legitimacy I believe.

Hi Rabbit,
I was wondering why you placed GoldenRocks as the highest risk instead of Fastmarket or 12DailyPro.
All along I thought GR is considered medium or low risk since the returns is not so much compared to 12DailyPro.

Hey Tartazrus. Goldenrocks is listed as highest risk because it pays 90% which is very hard to sustain over a long period of time (although they have been doing it for over a year now). The rate for 12DailyPro is half of it is for Goldenrocks…but you see 12DailyPro is listed as “Higher Risk”. FastMarket will be downgraded to “Hazardous” because of all the problems they have been experiencing right now. I will make a blog entry on that later. I will also be re-categorizing the programs as well. Stay tuned.
