E-Gold Down But Not Out

E-Gold’s main web site and related sites (such as their exchanger Omnipay.com) have been offline for about 2 days now. With the sites down, rumours have been swirling about them being shut down by the FBI or another government agency in the U.S. From what I understand this is not true. The same rumours were going around a few weeks back when e-gold went offline for about a day as well. As far as I know, they are having some technical difficulties with their internet service provider. Originally I thought that the were being hit by another DDOS attack. But Proxelic, the company that they hired to help them fight DDOS attacks, put out a statement saying that the issues lies with their Internet Service Provider. I am hoping that they will be back in business by Monday.

E-Gold is now back as expected but acting a bit slow. I am also getting error messages when I try to make a spend. I think these issues should be resolved in a few hours.

The main page is not opened ..

That is interesting Master. I have not had any issues logging into the site since Sunday. Maybe it is a problem with your browser or settings?
